Una is a self-taught wildlife artist, working mostly in acrylics, watercolor and pastels.
Una's father used to paint, and although Una drew as a child she didn't take up painting again until the 1980s, and more seriously in 1990s. This was very much inspired following a meeting with a friend who was a wildlife artist and following a weekend of painting, Una has never looked back.
Her favourite subjects are the big cats, birds of prey and British wildlife.
She is a member of The Wildlife Art Society international and the Natural World Art Group at Banham Zoo in Norfolk.
She is also a member of Peterborough Art Society, Castor and Ailsworth Society of Arts and Hunts Art Group.
Una exhibits widely and her paintings can be seen in collections in the British Isles and abroad.
Most recentlty Una had a picture selected from 800 entries for an exhibition on the Wirral.
