These beautiful, handmade, hand-painted, lightweight, Terracotta Jewellery pieces are made using processed clay.
 
The process of making these terracotta designs is an intricate one and can take several days to complete.
 
First the mud is collected from riverbanks in India and is then processed to give it a clay finish.

From this clay, different beads and pendant shapes are created using molds and hands.

These shapes are dried in sun and then fired in a kiln for few hours.

After baking in Kiln, the beads and pendant shapes are allowed to cool, which could take several hours. They are then individually hand painted using waterproof colors.
 
These beads and pendant shapes are then made into beautiful contemporary Jewellery pieces in UK
