About Teddytums parents

Maureen and Alistair live in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire and live with a cheeky cairn terrier named Rory (Ruaridh meaning 'Red King' in Gaelic) and four cuddly guinea pigs.

Maureen has been making bears since 2003. 'Bears hand-made by 'ALIMOZ' reflects the role played by her partner Alistair with early support and the odd bit of finishing advice on ears, eyes, joints and noses. However, these days it is nearly all 'MOZ', which reflects the maturity of the Teddytums Bears range from quirky (crazy) to traditional and cute.

Bear sizes mainly range from 8-12 inches (20-30cm), but with a growing group of larger 12-15 inch (30-38cm) bears due to an increasing number of sales and orders.

Teddytums bears enjoy their lives, most having big smiles. However, a variety of traditional mouths are available on bears made to order.

Maureen uses quality German mohair and accessories including nut & bolt joints on most bears, although wobble heads using traditional split-pin joints are available if preferred. Eyes are of English glass and vary from solid black through a range of colours.

Maureen herself prefers beads, pendants and necklaces for the bears but can also offer bows, neck-ties, scarves and hats to personalise the bear even further.
