Lois has been interested in art since primary school age, and she has always enjoyed any activity connected with drawing and painting.
It wasn’t until she reached her twenties that she started attending evening classes which continued over the next few years, until family life took over.
While her family has always been her number one priority, after enrolling at a Teacher Training College Lois was able to study art at a more serious level.
Many years later and upon retirement, Lois once again found the time to reignite her passion for art.
Over the years, after trying various methods and a variety of media , Lois is happiest experimenting with mixed media in a creative way.
Lois has been privileged to have work inspired by Clarice Cliff and she was inspired to pursue her passion when her work was exhibited at V & A as part of their annual exhibition.
Lois is a truly gifted artist and she hopes that her work brings as much joy to people as she gets in creating it.
