Jan is inspired by the natural world; a never ending source of colour and ideas. Jan uses acrylic paint as her medium, using a technique of manipulation with handmade tools that she has developed to create abstract paintings.

Colour is at the heart of her work and she creates vibrant fusions of colour as a response to what she sees and feels.

With every new idea and theme she is pushing the boundaries of her process to develop even more interesting pieces with movement, colour and rhythm.
