Alison produces individually designed feltings made from Marino, Blue-faced Leicester, Black Welsh and Icelandic wools.

Each item uses 306 layers of carded wool that is wet-felted, many as a single seamless piece, to produce a soft but incredibly tough and hard wearing finish. Dating back thousands of years, this is the most ancient of fabric crafts, combining strength with textural and visual appeal.

At the Community Arts Centre Alison is exhibiting and selling a range of items including:

 ~ A5 notebooks - stand out from the crowd
 ~ tea and coffee cosies - a great addition to anyones' kitchen or lounge
